Photographer's Note

Summer Holiday in Cambodia 2006~

took this at Angkor Wat at around 8:30am.

The following is some info of Angkor Wat.
~Located 5.5 km north of Siem Reap
~One of the best-preserved temple in Cambodia.
~was built for the King Suryavaman II in the early 12th Century.
~The temple was built in the style of Khmer architecture.
~was dedicated to the Hindu god, Vishnu

It was my first visit to Cambodia. The building in this photo was one of the "gates" in Angkor Wat. At the gates, some Cambodians dressed in their cultural costumes and took photos with tourists. (Tourism plays a vital part in Cambodia)

I quite like this photo because of the yellow balloon. Mind you, its not a hot-air balloon... when looking closer to it, there was actually a string holding onto it and the balloon would only stay there still for tourists to overview the whole of Angkor Wat.
