Photographer's Note

.Take 11 (Click the number for info of entire trip)

After the weekly mass on Sunday, all attendees (10 catholic believers and some 80 non-catholic people) shared the pork soup for lunch right on the floor of floating church where we will sit down to plan the purchase and distribution of rice , and to lay our back for the night as well. It’s free, from the fund of Siem Reab Diocese. Most people were pleased to take a second bowl.

I asked the church keeper about the cost to cook such a big pot and here is the info:

- 5 kg of rice, $20.00
- 4 kg of pork chops, $40.00
- Seasonings and other ingredients: $15.00
- Servings: 200 bowls (37.5˘/bowl)

My nephew and I have been invited but we denied, since we didn’t have enough courage to “take” the choice tidbit from these poor people while our presence here is to relay the “giving away” instead.

While they were happily having “Sunday Soup”, I clicked many snapshots and this is one of them.
