Photographer's Note
From Angkor Wat, the first day we went there.
already late afternoon, was waiting for sunset, when I saw these horses grazing calmly, never mind of the thousands of tourists behind (and some taking pictures of them).

Hi Cessy,
Original and superb point of view over Angkor Wat. The use of horses as a first plan is quite an unusual way to present this mythic location. Although the sky was covered, the clouds provide a great atmosphere.

André

Hi Cessy. I don't think I've ever seen horses with such an interesting background. I think a polarizer or grad ND filter would have been a good fit here. tfs Cessy!

Hi Cessy
he he you're into horses too, a nice add to these famous structures that works as well as a depth enhancer foreground.
Have a nice day,

Salut Cessy
Tu as fait très fort de combiner ces chevaux et les temples d'angkor. Avec cette image, j'ai l'impression que ces temples sont dans un coins perdus dans la campagnes et qu'il n y a pas de touristes !!

Hi Cessy
Attempting a shot of the most photographed temple is a daunting task, as one wishes that he/she can do it differently..and that's exactly what you've done here, with beautiful effect. Good positioning of the horses in the nice diffuse warm light. Really well done Cessy

Hello,
Une vue assez inhabituelle de ce lieu mythique !
Bonne composition. Malgré un ciel défavorable, les couleurs sont assez chaudes.
Bien vu.

We all look for something different in iconic places. What a beauty you came up with. This mother and foal portrait would be good anywhere, but to have Angkor Wat in the background........!! Fantastic

Hi Cessy. For some reason I don't remember, I must have missed this one. Again a pleasant idea to avoid a flat-on photo of the iconic Angkor structures - and even more so you found a lovely foreground interest with the young horse and the "parent horse" quietly spending time on the grassland in front. Good mood and muted yet contrasting color setting underneath the blanket of clouds.

Hi cessy,
very beautiful shot.
Great background, charming foreground, a bit unexpected, id expect elephants or something more exotic there.

Great shot. i found it very hard to find an original point of view at angkor. You did very well to find this shot and frame it so well. The light is is so very nice, particularly throught the horses mains.
Cheers Rob
