Photographer's Note

This girl was wandering around the temple of Preah Khan all on her own, she looked so sad.
Preah Khan was built in the late 12th century by king Jayavarman VII, it was one of his largest projects and was much more than just a temple. With over 1000 teachers it appears to have been a Buddhist university as well as a considerable city.
