Lonely Planet talks about the Indiana Jones experience at Beng Mealea, much of which has been left un-restored. There are some raised walkways but when we went with a guide we had to start by climbing (with assistance when needed) over a big pile of fallen stone blocks (top photo). We then walked around the outside of part of the ruins through a jungley area (middle photo) finally arriving at the general exploration area with its raised walkways.
It was a good experience with a good young guide. I don't think that tour groups could do that walk unless they were broken down into very small groups. It was definitely not suitable for wheel chairs.
