Photographer's Note

To the north of the more famous Angkor Wat complex is a complex that covers a greater area, Angkor Thom (12th-13th century). Within the Angkor Thom complex are several separate temples and a royal enclosure.
Outside the main southern entrance the road is lined with 50 gods on the left hand side and 50 demons on the right hand side. Not all of the gods are original with the lighter coloured heads being replicas. The gods are all sitting astride a massive multi headed serpent.
