Photographer's Note
On the photo you can see one of the incomplete bridges we had to pass between the dusty, sandy tracks leading from Sra Eng to Preah Vihear city. In the workshop some of the places where the jungle was burning we passed.

Hello Gerrit,
A good composition from this stretch of tough road. One friend was close to you and another on the far side of the "tunnel" created by the leaning trees.
Regards,
Gert

Goedemiddag Gerrit,
Dat jullie hier even moesten behendig zijn lijkt me duidelijk.
Heerlijk foto werk, bedankt.
Groeten uit Oost-Vlaanderen,
John

Hi Gerrit
Lovely photo, the wooden bridge leads the eye through the natural tunnel made of growing vegetation. Including the people makes the viewer feel as if they were about to walk into the image.
Best wishes

Hallo Gerrit,

Mooi werk.

Hi Gerrit
The ramp approaching the bridge is not one to stay mounted for crossing. A good photo on the road.
cheers

Hi Gerrit
A shaded scene nicely framed and well exposed while the surrounding adds interest showing the reality of rural Cambodia; dusty and humid. The bikers seem to add the final touch at the same time lead smoothly into the whole scene and the strong contrast gives an instant lift. Well done
Best regards

Hello Gerrit,
You spotted a perfect location for a photograph, the broken bridge, the cyclist and the arch of trees, all combining for a great composition. The second cyclist draws our attention onwards.
Was the jungle purposely being burnt?
At this time when we are trying to reverse global warming by planting trees, this is so sad!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Dag Gerrit
Benny
