Photographer's Note
The main cinema in Thimphu, capital of Bhutan. When this was taken in 2007 Bhutan had a thriving cinema industry, films were watched all over Bhutan, mostly in village halls as cinemas were few and far between.

Hi Neil
A beautiful color scene, the posters for the movies and the clothing of the people outside bring beautiful bursts of color to the view. Very nice also to see ads for movies which are not the usual big Hollywood blockbusters, I imagine local cinema would be much more popular. Interesting scene and good photo
Cheers

Hello Neil,
I like very much this scene, the selective composition which includes the posters, the picturesque entrance and the people. I like the arrangement of interest within a tight, vertical composition. The colours are superb and convey a serene, exotic, urban atmosphere. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
Ourania

Hi Neil
It's everyday scenes like this that really make me miss Bhutan, more than photos of wild Himalayan landscapes and picturesque monasteries. I think it's daily life that says more about countries than their monuments.
Best wishes
Kasia
