Photographer's Note

Kurjey Lhakang, also known as Kurjey Monastery, is located in the beautiful Bumthang valley in the Bumthang district. This is the final resting place of the remains of the first three kings of Bhutan. As well, a large tree behind one of the temple buildings is believed to be a terma that was left there by Padmasambhava. This is one of the most sacred place in Bhutan.

you captured the almost greatest possible contrast between the bright buildings and the green background. A very fine composition.

Andrzej,
Yet another great shot. Seeing all these image on your gallery, Bhutan is now on my list of place to visit. Don't know when, but I will be there for sure one day. Stunning photo, great quality, perfect sharpness and clarity on such a constrasting place of the building and majestic mountain fill with dark green forest. It's half way to heaven this place, so peaceful with great sense of tranquility. I feel kind of superficial and shallow posting my California Dream after seeing this shot. Thanks so much.

Czesc Andrzeju,

To co zwraca uwage na osatnich fotkach, to to ze chyba nie miales jakiejs super pogody, albo tam tak jest po prostu... Ale dzieki temu, budowle wychodza na fotkach super, jasniutkie, czysciutkie na tle ciemnej zieleni az blyszcza... Super kompozycja, piekna budowla!
