Photographer's Note

After the Dadès valley, on the road to Merzouga, we discover an other valley on the south of Atlas mountains : Todgha (pronounce "todra") valley. The valley ends with the town of Tinghir (sometimes you can read Tineghir). The towns is famous for its palm grove along the Todgha wadi that is considered as one the richest in Morocco. As it is the case in every dry place in Morocco, the houses are built on the sides of the valley to take the most of the few arable soils along the wadi.
