Photographer's Note

This is the edge of Victoria falls, where the Zambezi river spills over this cliff 128m down into the gorge. With the water being lower at the end of the dry season, it was possible to hop over some rocks in the river to islands along the edge of the falls. Mist from the heaviest part of the falls can be seen from the gorge. It's an awesome spectacle, and was without the built-up and strict safety structures that one would expect in other countries.
The Zambezi River forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, and is a mile wide at this point. The falls are also split down the middle between the 2 countries.
