Photographer's Note

This is the beach at Sidi Fredj on one of the Kerkennah Islands off the tunisian coast, close to the city of Sfax. As one can see the tide is low and the waters extremely shallow. We had to walk for 15 minutes to get kneedeep into the water. As you see there is a person walking to the right with only his feet under water.

The islands are very flat, the highest point is about 15 m. They are famed for their seafood and fish and for being such a paradise they have very few tourists, at least the season when we were there.

The composition of this picture isn't ultimate I must admit, the right barrel and the right ship are interfering. But what I like in this picture are the bright blues and azur sea, and the contrast between the postcard like background and the barrels. If anybody has any suggestions on how to make the composition better through cropping etc., feel free to do a workshop, all suggestions are appreciated.
