Photographer's Note

A split second hip shot during my morning routine somewhere in Rue Rahba Schira, a souk in old medina of Sousse with its amazing array of narrow maze-like alleys where there's so much life going on here and somewhat gives the feeling of bygone era. I never get bored, everywhere is amazement, truly vivid and always there is something to discover, to look at, to feast the eyes and it seems never stop ....

I couldn't help stopping by this rustic appealing weather beaten ancient Roman walls, which remains as the surviving structures of its kind in the walled town, revealing its age old maturity and made me feel quite humble too! It's so photogenic full of detail grittiness, obviously this wall possesses a certain charm and character that I found so enchanting, a place certainly holds the heart, soul and spirit of the old medina. The street trader was probably day dream or fully engrossed with something or having a nice break when this was triggered fully caught him off guard.

Perhaps this looks slightly wonky, but this is what was registered by the sensor...
