Photographer's Note

Unlike most Roman cities, the streets of Thuburbo Majus were narrow and winding.
Most great buildings date back to the 2nd century, but much of what can be seen is from the end of the 4th century.
Thuburbo Majus is well worth a visit.
It is unspoilt in that there is are no tourist paths and steps or distracting signs and notices. It is a beautiful place to be.
