Photographer's Note

Dunstanburgh Castle is n iconic castle ruin, on one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland coastline. Even from a distance it presents a formidable and imposing sight. This is something close to what I wanted to achieve with the surf rolling over the stones in the foreground. The sea was fairly calm and this is the best shot from that shoot. The light was uninspiring at sunrise but just as I was ready to throw in the towel the sky suddenly took on this nice pastel colour and I seized my opportunity.
