Photographer's Note
The Fastnet Rock or An Charraig Aonair, meaning "Solitary Rock or Lone Rock)is off the West Cork coast in Roaring Water Bay. It was known as Ireland's Teardrop as it was the last part of the country to be seen by Irish emigrants heading to the US. Took this photo when on one of the wonderful tours out of Schull one evening in Summer 2007.
Scanned from print / disposable camera used.

HI Eileen, nice composition and a very beautiful scene, a bit unsharp/grainy but otherwise very good, TFS,Manoj

Hi Eileen
I am disappointed by your shot. The skyline is not horizontal and the colors are grey (not lucky for the weather!), and the shot is grainy and seems to be out of focus on the lighthouse. A change in B&W could have helped a little.

Hi Eileen,
the quality of the shot is obviously pretty bad, however I am really jealous of the tour you made. I considered it for some time but never did, and now I moved out of Cork which makes it even less possible.
This place is very special, amazing and photogenic if the weather permits.
Thanks for sharing,
M
