As the sun sets baboons get situated for the night. This one sat peacefully on his perch in the Okavango Delta watching the big orange ball dip over the horizon.

Hi Dana,
I agree with bryony. This is an amazing shot and should have had loads of points.
Great composition with the baboon in the centre. The leaves and branches form a wonderful frame around the subject and always move your eye back to the centre. The sunset colours are so complementary and anyone who has been to africa or lives here, like me, will know that wonderful feeling just before the sun sets and the night takes over. Super work.

Hello Dana,
I understand we share at least one common passion: Africa. :-)
I very much liked the composition here, felt as if I were there watching the baboon. The only thing I could wish would be that he didn't move much during the exposure.
