I'd like to have a trip to South Africa too but still planning. I like the depth og field of this picture and the lovely green of the background. But the main subject is underexposed due to the fact that the bright background cheated the camera's meter. You can use the function in Photoshop to correct the "level" of the picture easily, sometimes you can get an unexpected result.
