Photographer's Note
The Apartied Museum in Cape Town. The man mirrors the girl in the poster. I thought the red light said it all about apartied.

Hi Neil,
Very interesting picture. I read it differently. Black people on the poster look up proudly as they walk towards their future, but on the street a man walks looking down. Life is still hard.
That's the beauty of the picture that it invites interpretations.
Best,
Irena

Hello Neil,
Whatever the interpretation, this is an interesting picture and a smart composition with an original format.
When I saw that you have so many interesting pictures from all over the world, at first it surprised me that you have received so few points. The explanation of course is that you never write any critiques of other people's photos. The way to get any feedback on your photos is to stick to the principle tof giving and taking.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Neil,
I have visted South Africa a couple of times and this photo makes an excellent social comment - although life has generally improved for black South Africans, it is far from being ideal. The traffic light says it all. Shame that there is not a little separation between the man and the yellow post.
Thanks for sharing this.

Hi Neil
Good similar position of the 2 persons on this shot, but that's a pity you cut his feet.
Kind regards
