Photographer's Note

To my huge surprise, only a few pictures are published on TE about Namaqualand flowering season. However it is an impressive and wonderful events happening only a few weeks per year, if the winter rains were sufficient... Then, the usually dry landscape is covered by flowers, the most common ones being the daisy (like the orange one in the background).
I chose to post this picture as there was a nice contrast between the yellow flowers in the foreground, the orange in the background and the bluish sky and mountains. The low clouds also bring some dimension to this landscape.
