Photographer's Note
Great White Shark
Dyer Islands, Gansbaai South Africa
Cage dive operators chum the water (throw bait overboard) to attract the attention and use bait attached to a hook to draw the big fish closer to the divers in the cage once it has arrived.
Taking the plunge to come face to face with this apex predator was beyond words...

Hi Fulya,
Is this for research purposes or for diving for the pumping of adrenaline?
The body temperature goes down and the pulse is lower when one is in water, but when one is in troubled waters like this even in a cage, what happens to the pulse and the other body functions?
Any results to share dear?
Not an easy task by any standards to click a shark even from the comfort of a boat.

Merhaba,
Tebrikler.

Hello Fulya,
great snapshot with the half of the bait to be in the mouth of the white shark.
Fascinating your readiness to catch the moment.
Have a good day,Danos

Hi Fulya,
I guess you have to hold tight to the boat while taking such photos...
Very attractive capture. I like the sharp teeth of the shark well visible here. It is so hard to take a picture of sea creatures, even dolphins are jumping so quickly that I have never managed to photograph them properly. It must have happened very quickly.
Amazing spectacle, TFS

Hi Fulya. A shark in the ocean. Few people ever see anything like that. There must be an experience. You have photographed this "horrible" scene at the perfect moment. Well seen and realized. Rgds, Wolfgang.
