Photographer's Note
The Zebra is surely the most well known symbol of Africa. To me they are the most beautiful animals in the bush. They have the same social herd structure as horses and roam the savannah plains in large herds. This is an example of Burchell's zebra as opposed to the endangered Mountain Zebra which only occurs in the Mountain Zebra park in the south of the country.
I took this picture in the Kruger National Park.

Hello Johanet - Your almost high key shot has emphasised the graphic qualities of the zebra's markings well and I like the use of negative space. A cleverly managed image. Best regards Rosemary

Hallo Johanet
This is such a strong image - the use of the negative space and the high key monochrome quality. Excellent.
