Photographer's Note
The Quiver tree forest outside Keetmanshoop is a mesmerising place. Nowhere else in the world do these trees grow in such abundance. The Bushmen used these trees to carve out quivers for their arrows, from there the name. The trees in this photo are hundreds of years old.
There is nothing like dusk in the desert.

Hi Johanet
Fantastic scene! Silhouette of characteristic quiver trees in the astonishing sunset is truly amazing. Gradation of the sky is also excellent. this scene reminds me of a bush camping in Africa.
Best wishes, Hisashi

Beautfiul graudual colors with nice silhouettes of the trees.
I wish the dark bottom to be thinner with more abundant charming sky.

Hi Johanet!
Nice play with the silheouttes. I love how each silhouette differ from the other especially when they are pitted againsta candy-like colored background. Very nice image! Great work, well captured!
have a great day,

Hi Johanet
I like your use of the contra-light technique here. It places the trees in sharp silhouette, highlighting their unusual shape and texture. Well executed.
