Photographer's Note

I admire Gert's old photos so let's try this one. When Gert wrote about his experiences in Afghanistan, it reminded me my first trip to farther country. Of course, I went twenty years later than Gert.
Earlier in Poland it was impossible for me to travel outside the East Block. It was illegal to buy or change foreign currency and with no money you could not obtain visas and passport. My husband had some money from his trips to conferences so we could go a bit abroad with tent and all the food. But only in Europe. It was better than nothing. The situation changed after 1989 and my first trip was to Morocco. It was quite shocking experience, my first encounter with different culture.
As I have never written any diary so I do not remember where was this place. Probably we stopped somewhere on the road to see a local market. I was delighted with the exotic scenes, the people and old cars and donkeys..
Of course, it is scanned picture. Not good quality but maybe you will find it interesting anyway.

Sorry, I haven't noticed it is so big. I prefer 1200 pixels wide. too late to change :(
