Photographer's Note

Today I show you a picture of a monument you have to see in Marrakech : Ben Youssef medersa. It is an Islamic college built in 1564 and restored in 1982. It has 132 rooms to host up to 300 students. It is considered a jewel of Arab Andalusian artchitecture. Its buildings stand around a central yard with a basin in its centre. The medersa has perfect proportions and very beautiful decors, which give it a lot of charm. I really loved it ! The picture shows a detail on a building close to the basin on late afternoon light, seen from the opposite side of the basin in a student room on 1st floor.
