Photographer's Note
Moroccan lanterns attracted me on the way to a leather tanning in Fes. Traditional Moroccan lanterns, hanging lamps, sconces, and pendant lights, these produced an exotic atmosphere. There was a dark alley, so that set the ISO speed to 640, and then i took only one shot.
The place is maybe around the point in the map.

Dear Hisashi,
Wouldn't my wife love to go to that store, she loves lamps of all shapes and sizes.
You've achieved very good depth here considering you shot this a f/4.5, the focus travels all the way through the shot. Of course shooting at the wide end of the zoom would have worked but nonetheless, it's very good.
I love the rustic colours, particularly the way they are enhanced by the incandescent lighting.
I hope you got out of the shop without having to buy too many lamps.
Cheers
Peter

Hi Hisashi
your slow shutter did a good job here, clarity is sufficient and well defined under natural available indoor light. Impressive viewpoint and framing, I like closeness to the subjects which gives a strong impact. Excellent exposure, good color and contrast and sharpness is superb. Well done, TFS. Congrats

Dear Hisashi-san
Not very often do we see interior shots from you! A fine one with the wide lens in your full frame camera. The lanterns with their various shapes & designs are a treat to watch. What I admire is of course the exposure, perfect, which shows the ware in ambient light...evocative of the mood!

A very interesting interior of this Moroccan shop showing these old style lanterns which reminds us of medieval times. You managed well the dim light here and the whole environment is well defined.

Hello Hisashi, this is superb. The effect of the wide-angle lens is brilliant, it gives us even more the impression of how crowded and exciting the atmosphere is. I love the warm colours and the image is perfectly exposed as usual. A superb work of art, congratulations and have a good weekend, Lisa

Hi Hisashi,
Thanks for learning me that iso 640 is an option on advanced cameras! How uninformed I am! Good photo despite difficult light conditions and slow speed. Pleasingly descriptive image. I also find these Moroccan lanterns very pretty and couldn't resist to take a shot or two during my recent trip there.
Best regards, Claude.
