Photographer's Note
The Ben Youssef Medersa was an Islamic college in Marrakech.
The Koranic school was founded during the 14th century and is the largest Medrassa of Morocco.
Its 130 student dormitory cells cluster around a courtyard richly carved in cedar, marble and stucco.
The Medersa surrounds a grand courtyard, a very tranquil patio with a shallow stone pool.
The artwork follows geometric patterns, often repeated and intertwined, which is typical of Islamic Art.

I remember my time in Marrakesh, Kris, but I dont remember this place. You have created a fine image with the rich colors and strong pattern of the ceramics. The tiles appear to be of very fine quality, so much more so than the modern ones turned out a Nabul etc. The image creates a rather tranquil effect regards kevin
