Photographer's Note
In Marrakech the souks are the soul of the city, alleyways with shops side by side. The different souks are for different items.
Bustling, labyrinthine and extremely colourfull, the souks of Marrakech offer the city's most fascinating sights.
The heavy blue "thing" that you see is indigo blue, the colour of the berbers, the people of the Sahara.
In the cages on the left side there were cameleons and turtles!

Hi Kris, this colourful photo reminds me the Spice Bazaar in Istanbul. Perhaps the items may not be the same but the atmosphere is more or less similar. You have catched the soul of Marrakech. Regards, Tolga

Hello Kris! It's interesting to see the market through your eyes, and the note is useful too. I like the crammed atmosphere, so full of different colours and shapes, and the salesmen (especially the one with the moustache) hardly distinguishable. The only negative aspect is that the colours are a bit too saturated for my personal taste.... though I've never been to Marrakech and can't judge! :-)
Good work! TFS and best regards,
Inés
