Photographer's Note

An orange juice cart in the main square of Marrakesh. Recommended for the exceedingly cheap price (4 dirhams) and refreshing liquid nourishment on a hot summer's day. I think I was wary of ice unless it was tubed. I've added a little brightness / auto levels in some shadow areas.

Bonjour Chris,

Tu as bien capturé l'expression un peu sérieuse du vendeur. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du chariot du vendeur de jus d'orange. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
I hope the cat was careful in case the salesman would move the cart. It's a nice snapshot from the street, but for quenching my thirst I would have preferred safe bottled water.

Hello Chris,

Your photograph clearly reveals this very well adapted, mobile cafe/stall. The displayed oranges explain what is on offer and create a colourful, patterned display.
The owner has tried to add a little decorative value to his stall, with the two small shrubs.
I wonder if the owner is aware of the visiting cat!

A great photo of this old cart still in use to sell orange juice. All those oranges look very attractive, especially along with the light blue colours of the cart itself. Also the sunlight was excellent and that cat near the wheel makes an excellent bonus.

Olhando a miniatura eu pensei que fosse uma peça de museu de filmes de faroeste. Que beleza de carroça esta. Muito atrativa para um suco de laranja mas realmente desconfiando da qualidade do gelo. Excelentes cores e luz nesta bela foto.

I must admit that I was too wary to try fresh juice in Marrakesh but then I did get a good dose of the trots from cooked food!
A good one from one of the world's greatest the market squares.

I remember the many orange juice stalls in Marrakech but not this one in the shape of a carriage.
Beautiful view with the nicely stacked oranges.
I think the cat likes a nap in a dangerous place.

Hi Chris,
quite a charming stand. They made a great use of the old carriage, or was it from the beginning meant as a stand.
The neatly arranged fruit makes a fantastic repeated motif and adds so much color.
Thanks for the advice, I will try to stick with the freshly squeezed orange juice when I ever get to Marrakesh,

I drunk a cup of the juice in the square. nice view of the chart with the oranges and vendor in evidence. usually they hate photos.
