Photographer's Note

Riads, constitutes a traditional habitat of the Moroccan urban centres (medinas). These houses are entirely closed on the outside and get organized around the central patio, like the traditional arabo-Muslim habitat. They find Persian inheritance and Roman inheritance in the arabo-Muslim world, riad being very close to the urbana Roman villa. They are often planted of trees and endowed with a fountain which give them so the paces of a garden, where from their names. Living rooms opened and turned to the patio allow to use its freshness.
