Photographer's Note
Fortified citadel, is part of the belt of walls built by the Portuguese during the occupation of the city between 1471 and 1691. It is located inside the medina at the highest point of the city, isolated from the rest of the medina by its own walls, and with three access doors, it’s like a little medina inside the medina.
