Photographer's Note
The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca is the 7th largest mosque in the world. Its minaret is the world's tallest at 210 metres (it really is like a skyscraper, wow). It is almost brand new, completed in 1993. The mosque stands on Atlantic Ocean coast, the oceanic waves literally hitting its walls (second wow). A maximum of 105,000 worshippers can gather together for prayer: 25,000 inside the mosque hall and another 80,000 on the mosque's outside grounds (third wow).

Hi Deniz,
Wow! What a stunning image of this impressive architecture! With all the arches and awesome decorations the view looks unique and extremely interesting. People have been perfectly captured in the right moment to present a scale of the building. Very well done. Love it!

Hello Deniz
Great symmetrical composition. It really needed those two figures, and you waited until they reached the centre of the frame to take your picture so they didn't distrupt the perfect symmetry. Lovely!

Hello Deniz
Glorious architecture with fine details on the door. The ladies in the FG add the dimension to this picture which is most alluring. The composition is excellent and so is your timing to have the ladies in the correct place
Best,
Angshu

Very good photo! The only flaw is the models stand too centrally (but this is my impression).

Hello Deniz - The detail here is really good and I am surprised to read that the mosque was only completed in 1993, only 10 years old but being true to traditional Islamic style it could be much older. I'm intrigued to know just how long you waited for a figure to line up so perfectly on the vertical centre of the image. Marvellous. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Deniz
when i visit such a place with fine architecture as in your scene here, I imagine getting photo's like this!
its an A+ for me.
having the immense building in the bg with such large oversized doors and ornate details, then having local people in their cultural attire walking by.
very striking indeed!
it truly does capture my attention immediately!
awesome!

Hi Deniz,
Wow ! Kingsize door ! Great sharpness on the sculptural details, with a smart light management. These 2 women show us the scale of the mosque, that's just amazing.

Hello,
I never went in Casablanca, but your shot really gives me the wish to go there and visit this town.
Very good idea to have included the 2 colorful women, first to evidence the huge size of the front and the doors and second to play with color contrast.
Well done,
Yves.

Hi Deniz,
When I see such a good photo with an odd score, I am always intrigued to know who could possibly offer only point, as he might have seen something I didn't...
Well in your case Deniz, I don't see any flaws and I think that putting the subject in the middle strengthen the sense of balance and symmetry. It is obvious that you had all the time in the world to compose this image, so it is obviously a deliberate choice to place your subject the way you did.
The fact that this person is wearing a red dress create such a big impact, against the monochrome (sort of) background. The contrast of the gigantic archway against the small subject create a strong contrast, and reinforce the sense of greatness from the mosque.
Excellent work!
