The Golden Hour on Tamarin Beach

As most photographers know, the so-called golden hour (the hour before sunset) can give a beautiful warm glow and pleasing light and shadows to your photographs.

This photograph shows Tamarin beach and the outlet of the river du Rempart into the sea. During our visit the river was usually quite low and slow moving so it could be waded across. In fact the beach over the other side was much nicer and less rocky so it was well worth the effort. In the background you can see Mount du Rempart at 545 metres high.
