Amazing shot! That cloud seems to be dancing just a few hundred meters away. Beautiful.

In my opinion, it's a photographers dream and you have captured it perfectly. It's stunning, a truly wonderful shot of a great sky that you have to be in the right place at the right time to take advantage of. The colours are gorgeous and the cloud was in just the right place for you to include the piece of land on the left. Good for you, be very proud of it.

Fantastique mon cher Christian:
one of the best photos of Le Morne I have ever seen. Congratulations.
What a great effect of clouds! But the composition is really excellent, highlighting the clouds very appropriately while keeping the so well know Morne view that Mauritians know and enjoy seeing. Colour balance was also simply great. Félicitations.

I had a strange feeling when I see your picture...
For me the cloud seems to be really near you because of the kind of shadow in the water... It looks like a foreground with an isolated cloud 30m above the sea.
That gives an unusual touch on this picture.
I will go to Mauritius next week, I hope to see such view (and take picture of if I have time).

Hello, you are right, this deserved to be caught !
What strikes me in this image, after the cloud itself, is its reflection in the water. It looks like if the cloud was a kind of UFO floating very low over the water.
Everthing is perfect in this framing, and I don't think it should be cropped at all (as seen in the "cropping" workshop). The extra room on the right seems to be there to show that the cloud is slowly cruising like a ship.
Extra sharpness (as showned by the other workshop) could be added to bring some extra depth.
Overall I simply love this image !
