Photographer's Note

From my journey to West Africa in 1982. This is Djenné, a small town in south-central Mali classified by the UNESCO as a world heritage site thanks to its unique style of architecture. Most buildings, including the famous mosque are made from adobe, dried mud mixed with straw. There is a glimpse of the mosque in the background.

This photo was scanned from a Kodachrome slide and suitably post-processed using Adobe Photoshop Elements.
