Photographer's Note
This is a person who is part of the Masai tribe in kenya.
A custom I found interesting:
Basically, the village is a commune and no one owns anything, rather it belongs to the whole village. This includes the women of the village. So, after a hunt, there is a race back to the village (generally the younger, more athletic men make it back first). Because, whoever gets back to the village first, gets to have intercourse with the first woman of choice. The men throw their spear into the earth outside the woman's hut while they procreate.
They are relatively poor, but visiting tourists pay a small fee to talk with them and take pictures in their village - the proceeds went to a new school for the local masai children.
