Getting up before down was worthwhile as sunrises never failed to deliver a splendid scene. OOPS! I have inadvertantly posted a small image, see the larger one in the Workshop.

It reminds me, my dearest friend, Hermin Abramovitch's works made at the shore of Haifa.. his style is so easy recognizable.. perfect reflection in the water, invisible border in between Heaven and Earth, purple sunsets with giant, overwhelming clouds.. Surely there is a lot of philosophy and mythology hidden there.. ancient heroes, eternal beauties, gentle butterflies on the surface.. the whole his gallery was deleted recently, surprisingly by the Author himself.. miss his works so much.. recommend you to look for in the net..
this one is quite close..

stunning, stunning , stunning.
one of the finest reflection photo's i have seen since being apart of TE. the inclusion of the lone walker give a romantic feel to the shot, as do the soft colours in the rising sun.

Perfect mirror reflection, a stunning capture! I especialy like the person in the foreground as this adds so much depth to the shot. Well taken, worth getting up for any time. Regards Brian D.

Hi Nina,it's a pic of a day on TE,fantastic moment and beautiful capture from a place that i like a lot,and you was lucky to meet that,isn't usual to see a sunrise like that in Kenya,usually are grey and full of clouds....thanks for share,have a nice time,LUCIANO

Hi Nina,
This is just stunning both in terms of light and composition. Love the reflection of the person in the water also.....am not a religious person in the slightest but this reminds me of the poem 'Footsteps'

This is delightful Nina,

I think I prefer sunrises to sets.

Beautiful composition, colours, great to have a silhouetted human element to which makes the shot I think.
