Photographer's Note
I was on the ferry that cross the Gambia river when we suddenly had engine problems and the ferry was unable to control. Another ferry came to help us after almost 2 hours. They pushed us back to the harbour again and it was a little bit dramatic sometimes. Some people fell and some people jumped over to the other ferry. Luckily it ended up well and no one was injured as far as i know.

Hej Boa,
En riktigt snygg bild, välkomponerad och med tydlig dramatik synlig i ansikten och kroppsspråk. Den sjaskiga silvergrå väggen ramar in personerna perfekt.

Hello Boa,
a very well composed and intriguing picture. The large empty surface and its damaged texture frame the people's concerned expressions very effectively and make the smaller part in the frame more dramatic. The sharpness on the people and the clarity inside the frame are superb. The light seen through the other side is soothing and the reflection on the sunglasses is eye-catching. Even the slightest detail has become important. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely evening,
Ourania

Hello
As you can see the damaged sides, the ferry best years are already behind him. In the great portrait of three ferries passengers, each with a different expression on his face from his reverie by the living expression of indifference. Very good, asymmetrical composition. Yours.

Oh, Boa, you lead such an exciting, dangerous life!!
I'm glad everything turned out okay, in the end.
This is a fine shot to remind you of your trauma. It is very well composed and does reflect something of the mood; maybe it is the concern on their faces, maybe the unkempt appearance of the boat!
Keep in touch,
Bev :-)

Hello Boa,
What a story with the ferry, maybe are the ferries also not in the best condition, Gambia is also an African country.
The small group workers or passengers are maybe not surprise, of the defects of the boat.
Composition and presentation make these picture attractive.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,
John.

Hello Boa,
This sounds a very dramatic incident. This is a wonderful capture of these men looking concerned as they peer out of the window. I like the off-centre positioning of the main subjects and the colours of their clothes against the silvery grey boat.
Excellent image.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hi Boa,
I like the spontaneity of this capture, with these men on the window of the ferry, looking out during a delicate help maneuver.
The image is sharp and has a great graphical effect.
A nice work, in an efficient photojournalist style.
Best regards,
Josep

hej boa ~
in just one frame, you have captured the moment and the story. and all with a small cast of characters peering through a small window ~ excellent work!
one man's brow furrows in concern as he looks downward (presumably at the water), the other with energy in his shoulders, looks in a different direction. and the cool dude (med solbriller på) just walks past in the background.
really a fantastic composition, with a great balance of red/white/blue -- nicely seen and grabbed!
hils,
kristin
