Photographer's Note

Typical Gabonese sunset over Sogara beach and the palm trees. The beach is just meters away from expatriates residential villas and from there you can see whales and dolphins with a bit of luck.

Port-Gentil is the second largest city in Gabon and its economic capital. Despite the revenues generated by petroleum and timber industries, the infrastructure remains poorly maintained and a large portion of inhabitants live there in poverty.
