Photographer's Note

Continuing with one of the highlights of our recent trip, the visit to the Mursi people and our exchanging roles with them as to who holds the camera, i.e. the what kind of gaze we direct at each other. They loved being photographed, and preferred posing for photos to shooting them with my camera, so we made a lot of fun memories in the village. Interestingly, their chief said they never get photos of themselves from tourists who visit, so we made prints and mailed them to our guide, and they will be delivered as soon as this virus has run its course.

(I tried posting a couple of versions of this photo, but apparently they breached TE rules for having my friend in, so this one only has her hand, hopefully nobody will flag that as breaching any rules)
