Photographer's Note

The old Muslim town of Harrar has a handful of streets which serve as markets, with vendors shops lining the streets and others using the cobbled road. The vendors in this street sell mostly food stuff. It is one of the main streets in the old town and leads to the Shoa Gate, known to locals as Asmaddin Bari, which is one of the five original 16th-century gates leading into the city.
