Photographer's Note
Keeping in my style of shooting portraits with the eyes being the feature - I asked this girl in a red scarf to try holding her head scarf up to her eyes. She was on the beach selling bracelets, and, yes I bought one before asking for her shot.
A 'behind the scenes' shot is in the workshop.

Great job, but I'm mostly fascinated by the red headscarf.

Hi David
Her eyes are either squinting in the sun or she has a big grin under that awesome red scarf, either way this is brilliant. I like the way you have included the bracelets adding to the overall story of the photo. As for the workshop I'd love to see her without the scarf, I'd kill for her lips! She is beautiful, you do her justice.
Cheers
Jude

hello David
her eyes are splendid, and there is a great harmony of colours between the different elements of the photo! The bracelet has exactly the same colour than the eyes and the scarf, whose red colours enhances the beauty of the brown skin!I love your very close framing!Really wonderful!

Hello David,
I love this incisive portrait featuring the lovely eyes of the subject. You've captured her soul. Although it truly is a beautiful photograph, you might want to experiment — cropping the frame so that one of her eyes is squarely on the vertical centerline. That is the way the great portrait painters (Leonardo in his portraits of three women — Mona Lisa, included — Rembrandt in his miraculous psychological portraits, etc.) seem to have exercised this rule intuitively. (I wrote a book on the subject). In any event, a great job.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Dave, As others have said, inclusion of the beads is a great addition. Her eyes are great - smiling and sharp . Her skin texture looks a bit smooth, perhaps a bit less noise reduction? cheers, Steve

Hi David,
What a beautiful portrait! Beautiful, beautiful, brown smiling eyes! You framed it very well, in my opinion.
I like to see the "behind the scenes" too.
Thanks for sharing,
