Photographer's Note

It seems that the " Shisha " or narghile is even more popular in Egypt than Turkey. So it is certainly not uncommon to see men ( And sometimes women ) enjoying their smoke in cafés, or in front of their shop. When I spotted the scene I found out that it had a double attraction for me, even a triple I would say.
Black arabic characters on a green wall for a background to start with . Plus some hieroglyph motifs on the wall nearby. The third asset was of course the dark jabalah the man wore. He was very pleased to let me take his picture.
