I shot this photo from Mokattam hills, you'll see that it is a panoramic combination of three different sites, you will see in the shot the 3 Pyramids of Giza and the Nile River togther with the new and old cairo.

Une photo panoramique de bonne qualité peut être prise de trop loin ce qui nous prive de ces détails.
Mais ce que je trouve de très intéressant c'est que sur le dernier plan vous nous présentez les pyramides et on voit bien que la ville est a leurs pieds ce qui donne cette image d'un autre point de vue sur cette merveille.
C'est du tout bon bravo Shady.

Impressive sight, Shady. Very interesting to see the contrast of the elements you're referring to in your note: the older part of town, the skyscrapers in the new part, and the solemn pyramids in the back. Do you have a larger version of this with which you might be able to do a large post from your "Edit" section? That might look awesome. But this one is already very good; thanks for showing me a sight I never had the chance to see before.

It is true that the landscape is quite large. Perhaps you have to try to make a panorama with it. You can crop a part of the sky to have a better position of the horizon at 2/3 of the picture.
It is quite good to see that the pyramids are so close of the city. Most of the picture of them show the desert around.

this could have been a candidate for the large post (LP) option. I haven't used it yet, because I don't take alot of panoramas. I appreciate this one though.

Truly a great capture you made here Shady - I’m not sure but isn’t it true that Cairo among the 20 biggest cities in the world. I never visit your country so it’s nice to get an idea of the locations etc.
Very well done and thanks for sharing.
