A place in the sun, a photo from Tarrafal, Sotavento

A difficult place to get the right exposure. The sun on the wall has created an impression of the woman being surrounded by a large halo. The picture is taken in Tarrafal, a small town on the northern tip of Santiago island.

Despite the exposure problem, you've got a good photo anyway.

The composition is a little daring with the so bright light on the wall, nevertheless the woman seller is very well represented and her display of vegetables is interesting to see - great colours, too,

Certainly a difficult exposure but the composition is anyway quite fine. Tiotally a good picture!

Hej Gert,
the most curious thing about it is the following: it seems that the woman prefers to stay in the sun rather than in the shade!
The bright sunshine and contrast makes it very difficult to take a photo in such conditions, but I think that in this case it is only a "plus" for the photo :-)

a precious portrait of the vendor woman in her daily life. I guess the light focus created a special mood to the compo. very nice view of the model and the products exposed.

Je trouve que vous en sortez bien au niveau de l'exposition, juste le haut de la dame faisant ressortir sa peau brune, beaucoup de détails , belle scène de vie
