The village of Santo Domingo, is the gateway to the interior of the island of Santiago in
Cape Verde and its main tourist attractions the valley of Sao Domingos and the Pico da Antonia the highest point of the island. the ex-libris of Santo Domingo are the famous "corn pastries" that are hand-crafted by the roadside.
The island of Santiago, is the largest and most African of all the islands of the archipelago, and the cradle of Cape Verde-citizenship offering a rich cultural, culinary and unique landscape, with an island where the contrasts are sharper.
