Photographer's Note

This lighthouse has a focal plane 25 m (82 ft); two white flashes every 6 s. 21 m (69 ft) octagonal masonry tower with lantern and gallery, attached to a 1-story keeper's house. Entire structure painted white; lantern roof is gray.

Praia, at the southern end of Ilha de São Tiago, is the capital of Cape Verde and a port of call for cruise ships.

Located on Ponta Temerosa on the west side of the entrance to Praia harbor, about 3.5 km (2 mi) southwest of the town; the site is open but the tower closed.

Oi Rui ,
Bonita foto com este farol a entrar mar a dentro , o farol ficou muito bonito iluminado pelo sol , escolheste uma boa hora para tirar a foto , boas cores , eu era capaz de cortar um pouco da foto do lado direito a ponta do muro , um pequeno detalhe :), parabens!!!

Há por aqui poucas fotos da Cidade da Praia, por isso esta é especialmente bem-vinda.
Além disso gosto muito de faróis e este ficou bonito com aquele tom amarelado.
