Photographer's Note
MOrabeza - expression in the creole dialect meaning ‘our hospitality, our friendly way of receiving those who visit Cape Vert.
The bigger shipwreck in the image has the same name "Morabeza"...
A dramatic scenario in a cloudy afternoon.

Rui,

All the rusty colours make the image look like an old podstcard. The dramatic overcast sky makes a good background.

Hi Rui,
A really well composed photo of the old rusty wrecks. You make very good use of the lighting conditions and I love the contrast between the grey sky and the stong yellow colour of the beach.
Cheers,
Ulf

Olá Rui,
Ainda me lembro deste navio no porto de Lisboa! Cheguei a estar lá a bordo.
Agora, achei estranho ver o Morabeza acompanhado.

Robert

Ola Rui,
Intereseting detail and great light, I also like that little touch of green sea. That's quite ironic that a warm welcome is a shipwreck shoal.

Hi Rui!
It seems to be a scrap yard for ships. Fascinating, somehow morbid photo.
