The Islet of Birds with 82 meters of altitude rises from the sea, off the bay of Mindelo on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde. The islet of Birds hosts a small lighthouse and closes the Bay of Porto Grande, large natural harbor on the island of São Vicente formed by underwater crater of a volcano about 4 km in diameter.
