The New Square in the city of Mindelo on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde, was
built by the British in 1894. It is a full animation square between and the meeting place of the local people.
The island of São Vicente is an island of essence, glamour and contrasts where you can breathe a characteristic atmosphere, the symbolism of art and Creole culture are very present in everyday life.
